| Jul 30, 06 | Pirates in the Park LATE BREAKING NEWS Join us for the 6th annual Pirates in the Park, August 5, 2006 starting at 2:00pm. This family friendly, folk festival style concert is a fundraising event in support of the Calgary Interfaith Food Bank. The Buccaneers, with their unique brand of vocal based Rocky Mountain Roots music, bring tight vocal harmonies, contemporary arrangements and a high energy performance to the Hillhurst/Sunnyside Community Centre Stage. Joining The Buccaneers this year is the extremely talented, infectious, imaginative and thought provoking Jazz & Roots singer Amy Bishop, from Calgary, AB. *LATE BREAKING NEWS* A newly confirmed addition to the day's events is a performance by Winnipeg's Easily Amused, Canada's premiere acoustic-pop duo. Keith Macphersen & Renee Lamoureux have done it all, including Keith's recent stint as a Top 14 contestant on this year's Canadian Idol. Dress as a pirate and bring the whole family for an afternoon of Music at the Hillhurst/Sunnyside Community Centre Park.
